I had this design in my head for a while – I wanted something that could use a single skein of lace-weight yarn and would be soothing to make, with just enough interest in the borders to make it interesting. I wish I could show you it in person – it has the best drape and is so light it doubles up as a scarf in the winter time, and a wrap in the summer. This version uses Unbelieva-wool’s ‘Aftershock black’ in the main body and ‘charcoal’ in the border, with a selection of beads of different shades of purple. The yarn is a merino-bamboo mix. It is now available on Ravelry.com and you can find it by clicking here.
