I loved making this shawl, which was by Annelies Baes in issue 66 of Inside Crochet (p40). The version pictured here was the second one I made, produced as a gift for a friend who has a summer birthday and loves these colours. I asked Lindsay at Dye Candy to dye me a 100g custom grad for the body, and 50g of indigo semi-solid for the border. And the finished item was beautiful. I love these shawls that hug you around your shoulders. The border is reminiscent of seaweed and it just reminds me of summer evenings near the beach.
